Happy Birthday Patrick! (Happy Belated Birthday Jack!)
Today is Patrick’s Birthday! We woke up and went to the park. Then I went to the pet store and got the boys a few goodies. While Patrick worked on his puzzle toy, Jack supervised me setting up the Christmas tree. This is Jack’s second Christmas here with us, but Patrick’s first! After the tree, I boiled them some chicken so I could properly bribe them to take ridiculous holiday pictures. I will include those in a different post!
At the park the boys were stinkers today! It was a little cool and really windy – we have never been to the park in those conditions. They were barking at the wind. Well, Patrick more howls than barks. This picture from the park really tells the difference between Jack and Patrick. Patrick is listening and looking, giving me his full attention. Jack is a bit worried about the other dogs and has to keep a little focussed on them.

Happy birthdays! We were looking at getting a puzzle toy at the pet store yesterday, but I got my thumb stuck in it while we were trying to figure out how to open it and almost had to wear it home. Clearly it was defective!
