2009 so far.
2009 has been going well, all 4 days of it. The boys have been out every day, but as Jared points out, it only seems to make them more hyper! Does anyone remember the days when Jack was terrified to leave the apartment, and walking him was like torture?! Now I say “want to go for a walk?!” and he’s all flipping in circles and waiting by the door – not so patiently. He is not afraid on his walks, even when we go to new places. He doesn’t know it yet, but he’s going to be my 5k training partner until I get in much better shape.
Patrick went to the park alone today. Honestly, with out Jack around he loses some of his mojo. He was still good, and had fun until some bigger dogs essentially ruined his day – but he’s just a bit more cautious. We might just forgoe the busy park and continue going to the empty one.
We had a visitor this week. Remember this cutie?

Jack was completely disgraceful when she first got here. Ugh…we need to have her come over more or something. At least he was good with the people!

Happy New Year! Thanks for posting. The mom is about 55 pounds, not sure who the dad is. The puppies look like the mom but there are a couple that seem to have the rottie coloring black with the little brown faces. I would assume they will be about her size when they grow up.

I hope you’re able to get a house this year. I sure want one! Fergus and Cai have such different personalities and needs, that dog parks are unsatisfactory to me too. I’m longing for a backyard where I can exercise them peacefully.

A good walking partner is, well, great. I jogged with Star the other day and discovered how awfully out of shape I was. I can’t even imagine 5K. Good on ya, I say.
Sometimes big dogs totally ruin the fun! They’re just jealous cuz no one lets them up on the couch, right? haha
