What I Want…
At Nuts for Mutts there was this vendor with amazing dog beds. Madison Avenue Mutts has really stylish beds that fit in with almost any home decor. Now that our house is larger, my goal is to have a place for the boys in every major room. I really like the Central Park Brown Bed.

It’s definitely a bit of a splurge for a dog bed. What do you all think? Should we do it? Do you have any suggestions for nice beds? Lately, they’ve just been using us as their bed. Not that I mind… (please, ignore the crazy hair!)

Jackson & Patrick,
That is such a cute picture with your mom! What crazy hair? You should see my mom’s hair sometimes! I love that bed! Mom bought Ziggy a new bed but he keeps going to the old worn out one so the new one is mine (when I’m not sleeping in mom’s bed that is!) Hope you have a nice Memorial Day with your mom & dad!

Hi Jackson & Patrick,
Thanks for stopping by our blog. Our mum bought our new pillows at a homeware shop called Briscoes in New Zealand. Madison Avenue Mutts’ beds look so cool and comfy!! We wish there were dog bed shops like that in New Zealand. We don’t have proper dogs beds. We only have mats. But, we can’t blame our mum because we have destroyed so many beds!
If you have never had a dog bed before, maybe try it out with a “nice” one, like Orvis or Land’s End instead of a major purchase? We didn’t. We still have a lovely, orthopedically correct, raised dog bed that has never been used, except by me. When they kick me out of mine.
Seriously…it is quite comfortable for naps, since I sleep curled up kinda like they do.

Tucker’s favorite dog bed is a human, too. Only he’s a bit bigger than Patrick and Jackson (put together)!

That is one good-looking bed! Dobby prefers to sleep on us, too
One thing that I did that was REALLY cheap- I went to a fabric store and bought remnants of fleeces. Dobby loves fleece. So I got three pretty good sized pieces and put them in his crate, on his bed as a blanket, and on our couch as a nest and all together they only cost about $8.
Good luck!
