New Toys
I went to the pet store to get some dog food for the boys. Typical me I left with way more than that. One of things I grabbed was a treat tug toy. You put treats in it and the dogs play with it to make treats fall out. At first Jack was very interested.
When it didn’t produce enough treats he gave up and went to the bully stick
Patrick took over. He is always much more diligent with food toys than Jack.
It still remains to be seen whether this will be a favourite toy or not. Jack still loves his tug-a-bloom best and Patrick fetches his ball. The treat jug doesn’t seem to be as interesting as a normal kong. We shall see.

just wanted to answer your question about Truffle’s tail..no, it does not cause her any pain at all. you can touch it, wiggle it…no pain at all…not even a flinch or blink.

Oh and I wanted to mention that the wading pool Jackal was fishing in is not a source of water. They have a bowl that gets refilled everyday. The wading pool is for taking a dip and cooling off, but it hasn’t been hot and I didn’t want to kill the tadpoles so I didn’t empty it. I’m going to carry the tadpoles to the pond out back and refill it this weekend.
Keep us updated on the toy. I’m interested to see how they like it. Jackal would probably just eat the whole thing lol!

Your new toy looks cool! While Cinnamon loves any toy, Cookie doesn’t play with a toy unless he can get treats by fetching it.

Ooh – you doggies in America always have the coolest things! I’ve never seen one of those treat toys before – and I’m ALWAYS hearing about bully sticks but they don’t have those in NZ and the grumpy Customs people don’t allow us to order them from overseas either!
Oh well, guess I’ll just have to watch you guys enjoying them!
