Long week
Hi Guys!

This week was a bit crazy! We had two little girls stay over for 3 nights. Patrick was awesome as usual. Jack was only a little bad. I honestly expected a lot worse. The little girl that comes in the morning is proving to be more difficult. She doesn’t like dogs so it is hard to get the comfortable around her if she is nervous around them. Again, Patrick is doing pretty good but at this point I’m just putting Jack in bed with his dad. I’d rather no interaction then bad ones!
Today we went outside to pot some plants. The dogs of course were “helping”.

Apparently while Jackson protests to new people, dogs and children, wild roosters are OK? Oddly, there was a rooster running around the front lawn on Friday!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

I am not too good around kids either. My mom takes me away when we have little visitors!
You had sunny gardening day!

Hi Jackson and Patrick,
I love that photo of the 2 of you lying together in the garden!! So sweet!
I don’t usually have children in my home either so when some little ones come sometimes, I’m a bit disturbed by them. It’s funny because I’m fine with them if I meet them outside on the street or in the park or whatever – even if they maul me or pull my tail or whatever – but in my own home, I keep eyeing them suspiciously…my humans feel bad that they didn’t know any friends with young children when I was a puppy so I could have socialised with them more in my own home and got used to having children around on my territory…
What do you normally do, Jackson? Why did your human say you were ” a little bit bad” – are you scared of children? My human says she agrees with yours – she’d rather no interactions than bad ones!

Cute Photos. We have two dogs who are marvelous with kids, but hell on wheels around strange dogs. Hope it all works out.

A rooster running around your front lawn? That is a very interesting guest!
I want to know more about that rogue rooster! What an interesting visitor – I hope he lets you sleep in!
That’s how we ended up with our rooster–he wandered into our yard, probably strayed away from one of the flocks of feral chickens in our area. Of course, he was a little chick at the time, so he’s very easy to handle now. Your “guest” is a very handsome rooster! I wonder where he came from?
So funny! A wild rooster! I think he’s an escapee! I wish I could follow your blog like I can with Blogger blogs. Is there a way??

You guys are so cute, and such good helpers!
I’m a little nervous around youngsters, too. They have about as much energy as me!
Hi guys!
Such cute pics, and great helpers!!
I do not like kids very much, but Chewy does… so I have to go away when they are around while he lets kids climb on him and hug him and kiss him…

P.S. Can`t remember if we told you the answer to your question yet about Georgian Bay – my grandparents live in Meaford.
Coz I know you love and care about dogs

Sounds like you had a great time outdoor. I’m not too good with kids either, especially the noisy ones.
